Failure to use a turn signal in the area of Hatch Road and Herndon Avenue on Sunday prompted an officer to pull over driver Peter Marino, 35, of Modesto. During the 11:07 p.m. traffic stop, however, the officer detected the smell of alcohol on Marino's breath and that he exhibited the signs of being drunk.

Marino was not allowed to continue driving his 2008 white Nissan but cited and released to a sober family member to drive him home.
