Fabian Long, 25, of Riverbank, was arrested early Friday after someone reported him asleep behind the wheel at the intersection of Collins and Service roads and a bag of methamphetamine and meth pipe in plain view on the passenger seat.

Officers Vince Hooper and Dirk Nieuwenhuis responded to the 4:04 a.m. call and located Long in his white 2003 Toyota Camry. The officers had Fabian exit the car and detained him. Long was arrested and transported to the Public Safety Center where he was booked for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and for a violation of probation.
