Employees of Cost Less Foods on Hatch Road joined together in holding down a man caught trying to steal the vehicle of one of their co-workers on Saturday, July 5.

Police were called to the grocery store at 4:07 p.m. after the employee found transient Mitchell Gruber, 29, trying to steal a 1999 Chevy S-10 pickup in the Cost Less Foods parking lot. The owner caught the would-be thief and rallied his co-workers to detain the suspect for police.
