A 29-year-old Stockton man who allegedly stole his estranged girlfriend’s car was arrested by Ceres Police on Saturday afternoon.

Raymond Tabin was also wanted for a prior DUI.

At 4:53 p.m., Ceres Police Officer Graham spotted a gold-colored GMC Yukon parked facing in the wrong direction of Collins Road near Service Road. Standing outside the Yukon were several males. When she checked the license plate through DMV she discovered the vehicle had been reported to Stockton Police just days before after Tabin and girlfriend had an argument. Tabin told Officer Graham that the vehicle belonged to him.

Tabin was found to have a warrant for his arrest for a prior DUI. He was booked into jail without incident.
