Police are searching for the man who burglarized a Mitchell Road bar on Thursday and took $3,000 from a safe there.

A person called police at 8:54 a.m. after finding a broken gate and back door at Runaround Sue's on Mitchell Road. After police checked out the inside, officers found evidence of a burglary. The owners said $3,000 in the safe was missing. The owner told police that a surveillance video showed that the suspect was a white male adult wearing dark clothing and perhaps driving a dark colored Nissan Altima.
