A complaint about Michael James Weaver, 30, of Modesto, begging for money inside and outside of a convenience store resulted in police discovering that he was wanted on warrants on Tuesday, Aug. 16.

At 1:01 p.m. someone bothered by Weaver’s panhandling called police at the Hatch Road AM/PM Mini-Mart. Ceres Police Officer Jessica Graham located Weaver and ran a records check. He had outstanding misdemeanor warrants for his arrest issued by Ceres Police and was cited and released.
