Bicyclist found with burglary tool, drug paraphernalia

When Ceres Police Officer Matthew Myers stopped a bicyclist early Thursday for not having lights on his bicycle in the dark, he also found drugs.

At 12:52 a.m. Myers stopped Joselle Linares 34 of Modesto, on his bike and found him to be on searchable probation for grand theft auto. Inside of one of the suspect’s backpack Officer Myers located drug paraphernalia and a piece of metal filed into the shape of a key. Linares was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary tools.
