A 52-year-old Ceres man who didn’t learn that riding a bicycle against traffic is illegal was pulled over by a Ceres Police Officer Thursday morning and promptly arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.

At 10:30 a.m. Officer Michael Varni made a stop on Joseph Martinez who was peddling his bicycle against traffic in the area of Service Road and El Camino Avenue.

Martinez was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
