A 38-year-old Ceres man was jailed Sunday evening after he was pulled over by a police officer who discovered two felony warrants for his arrest.

At 8:01 p.m., Officer Jordan Justice was patrolling the area of Hatch Road and Eastgate Boulevard when he stopped a Cadillac CTS, driven by Amritpal Sohal, for vehicle code violations. During a routine records check, it was determined that Sohal had two felony warrants for his arrest so he was arrested and transported to the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for booking.
