Ceres man arrested again on drug charges

A 46-year-old Ceres man with an extensive history of drug possession, theft and trespassing charges found himself arrested again on Wednesday evening, April 19 for drug possession.

At 6:49 p.m., Officer Christian Izquierdo was patrolling the area of Moffett and Fowler roads when he recognized Michael Bailey in Smyrna Park from prior contacts. Dispatchers alerted the officer that Bailey had a felony warrant for his arrest.

Bailey was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and was arrested.

While being booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center, Bailey was found to be hiding marijuana inside his shoe. He was booked for the felony warrant, possession of methamphetamine and smuggling drugs inside the jail.
