Darren Mosley, 35, of Ceres, arrested Wednesday evening for possession of stolen property and for petty theft after Kohl's clothing store in Modesto reported the use of a stolen credit card made to buy goods shipped to a house in the 1900 block of Hackett Road.

Police went to Mosley's residence at 11:42 p.m. Since he was on probation, the home was searched and turned up a stolen check belonging to the original owner (made out to the suspect for $218) and the items purchased from Kohl's which were mailed to that address.

Mosley also was jailed for a warrant out of Tuolumne County.
