A 35-year-old Turlock woman allegedly attempted to steal clothing from the Ceres Kmart store on Christmas Eve and was cited for commercial burglary.

The incident occurred at 2:20 p.m. when Jovan Deshay, 35, of Turlock, was observed concealing clothes inside an empty bag and leaving the without paying for them. She was stopped by store security and police were called. Deshay was released on a citation for commercial burglary.
