Tips from the public are being sought by Ceres Police Department to arrest the man who robbed Discount Cigarettes, 1530 Hatch Road, on Tuesday afternoon, July 28.

A Hispanic male in his 20s wearing bandana on his face and ball cap over his head entered the store at 3:56 p.m. He walked around behind the counter and produced a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the clerk. He grabbed what he could from the till and fled in a silver Lincoln Navigator with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Anyone who feels like they may know this individual is urged to report information to Ceres Police Detective Sgt. Danny Vierra at 538-5672 or contact Crime Stoppers at 521-4636.
