A 25-year-old Concord man was removed from a stolen car at gunpoint on Sunday evening, Nov. 26 by Ceres Police officers.
At 10:47 p.m., Officer Jordan Justice was northbound on Highway 99 near Crows Landing Road when he began following a blue Ford Focus reported as stolen. Once additional officers arrived, a felony vehicle stop was conducted on Kansas Avenue and driver William Brown was apprehended. Brown was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of auto theft and possession of a stolen vehicle.
