An early Saturday crash of two vehicles in the area of Hatch Road and Richland Avenue resulted in the arrest of one of the drivers who appeared to be intoxicated.

Officers were dispatched to the crash scene at 2:53 a.m. and found that a semi-truck was involved. Moises Sanchez, 39, of Modesto appeared intoxicated so officers gave him a series of field sobriety tests which confirmed their suspicions.

Sanchez was arrested for DUI and a breath sample indicated that his blood alcohol content was over twice the adult legal limit to drive. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
