A non-injury Saturday evening traffic accident at Hatch and Moffet roads led police to discover burglary tools and narcotics in one of the involved cars.

The crash was reported at 9:26 p.m. and responding officers found driver Gary Parchem, 25, of Ceres, was on probation for a narcotics conviction. A probation search of Parchem's car turned up drugs and shaved vehicle keys commonly used to break into cars. His probation officer had Parchem held for new charges of possession for a controlled substance and possession of burglary tools.
