Ceres Police arrested a 28-year-old Delhi man late Sunday evening after he was caught driving a stolen black 1997 Lexus IS300.

Officer Charles Rushing was on patrol in the area of Whitmore Avenue and Mitchell Road at 11:52 p.m. and learned that the Lexus was stolen. Additional officers were called in to perform a high-risk traffic stop to remove Julio Talamante from the car.

Talamante was transported to the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
