Double parking drew the attention of Ceres Police officers on Tuesday morning, April 21, which in turn led to an arrest for drug possession.

At 1:46 a.m. an officer patrolling the 1900 block of Darrah Street saw that John Walker, 36, of Ceres, had double parked a silver 2000 Camry. Walker gave a false name to the officer but admitted he had drugs. Walker pulled out drugs and a pipe from his shirt pocket.

Walker was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, as well as providing a false name to an officer.
