A 23-year-old Ceres man who proved to be nearly three times the legal limit of alcohol content to be driving was arrested early Wednesday, Feb. 1.
A breathalyzer helped Ceres Police determine that Alexis Alejo, 23 was far too intoxicated to drive.
At 2:17 a.m., Officer Aaron Pinon stopped Alejo, who was driving a Nissan Sentra in the area of 10th Street and Pyramid Avenue, for vehicle code violations. Because he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol, Alejo was administered field sobriety tests which confirmed the officer’s suspicion. Alejo was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI.
