Rusty Pavan, 59, of Ceres, was arrested during a Monday, Dec. 9 traffic stop in which drugs and drug paraphernalia were found in his car.
Traffic Officer Freddie Ortiz conducted a 1:45 p.m. traffic stop on Pavan’s vehicle on Mitchell Road near Don Pedro Road and found he had a suspended driver’s license and on searchable probation. Pavan also had a felony warrant issued by the Sheriff Department for his arrest.
Officer Ortiz detained Pavan and a search of the car turned up a small amount of suspected methamphetamine, heroin and various drug paraphernalia. Pavan was arrested and booked on charges of possession of controlled substances, possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violations and the warrant.
