Officer Christian Izquierdo checked out a man who was tossing trash out of a dumpster behind the 7-Eleven at Herndon and Joyce avenues early Friday and ended up making a drug arrest.

The incident occurred at 12:45 a.m.

Brandon Hobbs, 26, of Modesto, admitted having a methamphetamine pipe and methamphetamine in his possession. Officer Izquierdo located the items and placed Hobbs under arrest.  He was booked into the Public Safety Center for possession of a controlled substance.
