Police are hoping to find the two men who beat an elderly man with his own walker and then rob him of his wallet in broad daylight on Friday afternoon.

The attack came at Almond Terrace Apartments, 2004 Evans Road at 3:33 p.m. A witness said several men were involved in a physical fight. The two younger assailants were gone by the time the first officer arrived. The victim was bleeding from being struck by his walker which was taken from him. He was taken by ambulance to Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock for treatment of injuries to his head.

The victim identified one of the suspects as Earl Willis, 31, of Ceres. Police seek the public's help in identifying the second man and apprehending both for charges of assault with a deadly weapon and robbery.
