A man who called to falsely report that he was cutting his wrists was arrested on an unrelated warrant on Thursday evening, Sept. 3.

Police located Michael Salgardo, 46, of Ceres, at the apartment complex at 1759 Richland Avenue, after the 5:32 p.m. call was made but he wasn't cutting his wrists. He was taken into custody when it was learned that he had a warrant for his arrest.
