A verbal fight in the 2700 block of Chahalis Way on Thursday afternoon, Jan. 9 led to the arrest of a 30-year-old Ceres woman on a warrant.

At 3:01 p.m., Officer Alex Ochoa was dispatched to the scene after someone reported a disturbance caused by Katherine Doyle, 30, of Ceres, who also had a warrant for her arrest. When Ochoa arrived, he was advised that Doyle fled out of the back door and jumped the backyard fence. When Officer Ochoa caught up to Doyle on Villa Ramon Drive west of Rose Avenue, she provided a false name. He was able to identify Doyle by a tattoo on her wrist. Confronted with this, she admitted to her real name and was arrested for the warrant and a new charge of providing false information to a police officer.
