A Modesto teenager wanted for homicide was arrested by Ceres Police in a Friday afternoon traffic stop.

Officers Kyle Morris and Matt Berlier were patrolling the 3900 block of Central Avenue when they saw a vehicle traveling on Central Avenue with no front license plate. A traffic stop was initiated and the three occupants of the vehicle were identified. Front-seat passenger Stephen Tisdale, 19, of Modesto, was found to be wanted for a recent homicide and was arrested.
