Inappropriate remark lands transient in jail
Ceres Cop Car

A 23-year-old Ceres transient was booked for trespassing Friday morning after he allegedly made inappropriate comments to a female clerk at Ross Dress for Less on Hatch Road.

Police were called to the business at 8:59 a.m. after Joshua Curci, who appeared to be under the influence, reportedly approached a female employee and asked if she wanted to see him naked and asked if he could touch her. Officer Brian Petersen knew Curci - who is on felony probation for evading police - from prior contacts and that he traditionally refuses helpful services to better his situation.

The female employee did not wish to file charges but, the store wanted Curci prosecuted for trespassing.
