Law enforcement in Stanislaus County is seeking the public's help in identifying a woman suspected of stealing wallets from several senior citizens around the county.

Authorities said the woman preys on seniors by first befriending and then when they are distracted by the conversation, she steals their wallets from their purses.
The thefts have been reported in Ceres, Modesto and Turlock, with some dating back to 2013.

In some cases the stolen credit cards were used shortly after the thefts and surveillance footage was obtained.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 521-4636 or text a tip to "274637" and include the word TIP704 in the text. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
