Police need more clues to help arrest the man who committed the armed robbery of the Whitmore Avenue Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant on Wednesday evening, Aug. 26.

Police were called at 10:08 p.m. by employees who said the suspect walked in and pointed a silver-colored gun at them and demanded money. The suspect had his faced covered by a black shirt but was described as either a white or Hispanic male adult between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot, of thin build, wearing a black hoodie. Employees said he was last seen running south from the restaurant with no vehicle seen.

Police brought a canine to track the suspect's scent to the area of Magnolia and Central where the trail ended. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.
