A 48-year-old Modesto man was arrested Sunday evening after he threw a rock and broke a window at a business in the 1900 block of Rockefeller Drive.

Officer Eric Souza was dispatched at 8:57 p.m. after the business owner called to report the vandalism. Souza learned that someone threw a small river rock at the window and shattered it. Officer Souza reviewed the business’ surveillance system and was able to provide officers with a description of the suspect. They later located Robert Eugene Linder, 48, of Modesto, in the area.

Officers found him in possession of river rocks. Linder was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on the charge of felony vandalism.
