Man stabbed in flea market robbery

A Hispanic male adult visiting from Mexico was stabbed three times in the arm during a Saturday evening robbery attempt in the parking lot of El Rematito Flea Market, 3113 Crows Landing Road.

The 38-year-old victim said he was approached by the suspect who immediately began stabbing him and demanding his wallet. The victim threw up his wallet and ran away from the assailant. The victim drove himself to a friend who then took him to Doctors Medical Center.

The robbery was reported at 5:45 p.m.
