A report of an assault in the 3500 block of Cassie Lane made on Monday, March 23 led police to find and arrest a suspect wanted to face charges for prior burglaries.

The man who reported the assault called at 9:43 a.m. but then left for work. Police showed up at the address and found Danny Skidgel, 35, of Ceres, who had a warrant for his arrest for burglary.
