A 45-year-old Oakdale man who drove into Ceres was arrested Monday morning on DUI charges.

Paramedics with AMR Ambulance called Ceres Police at 7:49 a.m. as they were dealing with an intoxicated Sixto Romeroflores at Kentucky Fried Chicken at Hatch and Mitchell roads. Officer Jesus Salinas arrived made contact with Romeroflores who was in a black Nissan Rogue. Officer Salinas believed that the driver was intoxicated and conducted a DUI investigation. Romeroflores was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI.
