Officer Aaron Pinon was driving southbound on Mitchell Road Friday evening when he saw the driver of a Toyota Corolla in front of him toss of beer can out the window. When he stopped the car at 11:13 p.m. near Dale Road the officer quickly learned that the driver, 30-year-old Modesto resident Aristeo Barragantorres was intoxicated.

Following the standard DUI investigation, Barragantorres was arrested for driving under the influence. He submitted to a breath test, and he was determined to have over three times the legal amount of alcohol within his system. Barragantorres was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center for DUI.
