A 58-year-old transient man was arrested at noon Monday because he is wanted for a parole violation by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
Todd Hunter was spotted at Central Avenue and Herndon Road by Officer Brian Chandler who recognized him because of a warrant.
Hunter was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
Last month an intoxicated Hunter was arrested for being hostile toward customers of a Mitchell Road business and allegedly threw a rock at the business owner. He was arrested on June 6 on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and violation of parole.
