A 29-year-old Dublin man riding in a car stopped in Ceres for expired registration was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center early Friday for a felony warrant.

Officer Nicolas Welsh stopped a silver Mercedes on Hatch Road near Richland Avenue at 1:40 a.m. The driver was cited but passenger Dillon Smith, 29, of Dublin, was found to have a felony warrant for his arrest issued by the Sheriff’s Department. Smith was arrested without incident.
