Police are seeking a shorter man known on Ceres streets as "Trouble" for alleging clubbing another men in the head with a metal pipe on Monday morning in the3700 block of Central Avenue.

The report of assault was called into police at 1:44 a.m. They found the 52-year-old male victim with a large gash on his head. The man was taken to a Modesto hospital.

The motive for the attack has not been determined.

"Trouble" has been described as a white male in his 30's or 40's and stands about 5-foot-4.
