Ceres Police are hoping the public can provide clues that lead to the person who fired shots in the 3200 block of Malik Avenue in the noon hour on Monday.
The shots were reported at 12:35 p.m. and were directed at a tan-colored sedan which seconds later crashed into parked cars. An unidentified subject fired several shots at the Corolla that was driving behind the suspect. No one was struck by bullets.
Occupants of the Corolla were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained during the traffic collision.
Investigators are in the early stages of the investigation and urge anyone with information on the incident or who may have witnessed the incident to contact Detective Berlier at (209) 538-5616.
