The public is being asked to help identify the three men who robbed Richland Liquors, 1805 Richland Ave., on Saturday afternoon, June 3.

Ceres Police Department Sgt. Danny Vierra said the robbery occurred at 2:22 p.m. when three males wearing hooded sweatshirts entered the store with what appeared to be guns. The first suspect came into the store and pointed a black handgun at the clerk as he jumped over the counter and demanded money from the cash register. The second male also jumped over the counter to assist in the robbery. While the first two suspects were robbing the clerk, a third male helped himself to cigarettes and several bottles of alcohol. All three suspects then fled on foot.

Surveillance video was released that shows the partial face of one of the suspects. The clerk believes that one of the suspects may be black or Hispanic and the others possibly white.

Anyone with information on the suspects' identity may remain anonymous and is encouraged to contact the Ceres Police Department Tip Hotline at 538-5740 or Detective Bryan Ferreira at 538-5616.
