Police seek public's help in returning woman's stolen motorized wheelchair

The public is being asked to help aid in the return of a motorized wheelchair belonging to a disabled woman that was stolen off her mobile home porch on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

The 53-year-old female owner said she parked her black and red Elite Traveler motorized wheelchair on the porch inside Voyager's Cove Mobile Home Park at 2845 E Hatch Road at 4 p.m.

When she returned 20 minutes later the wheelchair was gone. She reported the theft at 4:26 p.m.

Police have no leads and are asking anyone who knows anything about the wheelchair or the thief to call Ceres Police at 538-5712.
