Surveillance camera photos show the suspect in Fridays bank robbery. The man produced a note saying he had a bomb. He was given money and fled. Authorities believe he was seen at a Turlock bank mid-morning. If anyone knows his identity they are urged to call Detective Carlos Quiroz at 538-5638.

Police are searching for the man who walked into the West America Bank in the 1700 block of Mitchell Road on Friday and produced a note saying he was strapped with a bomb and demanded cash.

The teller who was handed the note gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money. He then walked out in a southerly direction toward Fowler Road.

The Ceres Police Department received tips that the suspect was seen at a bank in Turlock in the mid-morning hours.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 20's, standing 5-foot-3, weighing 180 pounds, with brown eyes, wearing a black baseball cap, large puffy black jacket and back pack. Anyone who can identify the man or has other clues is urged to call Detective Carlos Quiroz at 538-5638.
