When you’re wanted by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for a parole violation and two arrest warrants, creating a disturbance inside of a store that requires police action is probably not the smartest thing to do. But that’s how Fabian Rueda, 30, of Modesto, ended up in jail on Thursday morning.
At 6:04 a.m. Officer Jeffery Godfrey was dispatched to the Starbucks in the 1400 block of Herndon Road for reports of Rueda causing a disturbance. Officer Godfrey learned that he was wanted for a parole violation and warrants.
He was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
