Stolen ID cards seized in traffic stop

Officer Kevin Sakasegawa stopped a vehicle for blowing through a  red signal light at Hatch Road and Richland Avenue early Wednesday, Jan. 6 and ended up arresting an occupant for possession of stolen California drivers licenses and social security cards.

During the 12:26 a.m. car stop, Officer Sakasegawa learned that passenger Lorraine Robles-Jimenez, 30, of Modesto, is on probation for theft. He searched the car and found a bag containing the stolen ID cards.

Robles-Jimenez was arrested for possession of stolen property.
