Stop for expired tags leads to two warrant arrests

Alejandro Magana and Juan Ramos were arrested on warrants on July 26.

Two occupants of a car stopped for expired registration tags on Tuesday evening, July 26 were arrested for outstanding arrest warrants.

At 8:59 p.m. Officer Aaron Pinon stopped a white Chrysler Town & Country driven by Juan Ramos, 38, of Ceres. The officer learned of the warrants issued for him and passenger Alejandro Magana, 21, of Modesto.

Ramos was also found with suspected methamphetamine in his possession. Both Ramos and Magana were booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
