Police are hoping anyone in the public will come forward with clues about the theft of aluminum parts from a rooftop air conditioning unit at the rural Patricia "Kay" Beaver Elementary School.

The vandalism and theft took place sometime between 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20 and 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 21.

Those with tips may leave them anonymously by calling Crime Stoppers at 521-4636. Tipsters can also e-mail tips at http://www.modestopolice.com/CrimeStoppers, or text them to CRIMES (274637) by typing "Tip704" plus the message and be eligible for a cash reward.
