Ceres police have arrested three more persons in connection with the Dec. 26, 2014 slaying of Derrick Farrow outside of a Mitchell Road bar.

Farrow, 33, of Ceres, was shot to death outside Runaround Sue's Bar at 1409 Mitchell Road, following a fight that started inside. Ceres Police Detectives identified several documented gang members as being involved and in January arrested Richard Isaac Monroy, 18, and Gabriel Enrique Gallardo, 18, both of Ceres, for murder and association with a criminal street gang. At that time four homicide arrest warrants were issued.

Edgar Alvarez, 22, of Modesto, and Richard Anthony Palomares, 21, of Ceres, were arrested on the morning of Dec. 22 as they left their homes. Both were charged with murder and associating with a criminal street gang.
A search and arrest warrant was served by the Ceres Special Weapons and Tactics Team in the 2000 block of Lunar Drive at a residence belonging to John Carlos Aguilera Jr, 21. Aguilera was arrested and booked for murder and associating with a criminal street gang.
Arrest warrants were issued for Eric Padilla-Sanchez, 20, Luis Emeterio Martinez, 20, and Jesus Prudente Ramirez, all of Ceres, for murder and association with a criminal street gang. They remain fugitives and are believed to have fled the area.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the homicide or the whereabouts of the outstanding suspects are asked to contact Ceres Police Department, Detective Arthur Hively at 538-5728, Detective Travis Hudson at 538-5743 or Ceres Police Department Dispatch Center at 538-5712.
