Three vagrants arrested on Mitchell Road
Ceres Cop Car

Three homeless persons were arrested on various charges Saturday afternoon after a clerk at the 7-Eleven/Chevron station at Service and Mitchell roads called to report that one of them tried to shoplift there.

The clerk reported that at 1 p.m. a man walked into the store and tried stealing several items before he was confronted and ordered to put the items on the counter and leave. He complied and walked across the street to the AM/PM where he joined up with three others who were allegedly camping out on the adjacent property owned by the California Teachers Association. Police were called and they arrested Francisco Vizcaino, 25, of Ceres, on charges of burglary; John Freeman, 46, of Ceres, for active arrest warrants; and Katherine White, 48, of Ceres, for possession of a meth pipe.
