An early Tuesday morning traffic stop of a white GMC Yukon at Fifth at Magnolia streets led to the arrest of a Turlock man who had an ample supply of marijuana which Ceres Police was for illegal sales.
At 1:41 a.m., Officer Eric Gallegos made a stop on the vehicle. When driver Aaron Moody, 32, of Turlock rolled down the window the officer smelled the strong odor of marijuana. Moody also had an outstanding warrant. A search of the vehicle yielded a digital scale and 13 separate bags of marijuana weighing a total of 7.7 pounds. Moody admitted the marijuana was his and denied selling it, saying it was all for personal use.
