Two arrested in flooded area of park
Ceres Cop Car

Erik Garret, 22, of Ceres and Scott Osborn, 19 of Hughson were booked on charges trespassing on city property Feb. 20 after they ignored barricades put in place to prevent people from accessing the flooded lower levels of River Bluff Regional Park.

The city closed off the lower terrace because of unsafe conditions due to the rising river levels. The two drove over a dirt berm and around the barricades/ fencing to drive in the mud so they were arrested for trespassing. Officers were called when they became stuck in the mud and a third truck was attempting to pull them out.
