Two arrested on outstanding warrants

Two Modesto men wanted on warrants were arrested near Bystrum Road and Eugene Avenue on Monday afternoon.

At 3:40 p.m., Officer Eric Souza spotted Juan Salgado, 38, of Modesto walking down the street and knew that he was wanted for two outstanding warrants.

While doing so, Officer Souza was approached by another man, Juan Gutierrez, 36, of Modesto who suggested he had missed some court dates and believed he had warrants for his arrest too. Dispatchers confirmed three warrants for Gutierrez so he was also arrested.
