Two involved in Rite Aid robbery

A woman was arrested and a man being sought for committing a strong arm robbery at Rite Aid on Halloween night.

The crime occurred at 9:12 p.m. when Ashley Tedesco, 28, of Modesto, was seen stealing items and was stopped by the store's female loss prevention officer. Her accomplice saw Tedesco struggle and rushed up and punched the officer to release her. Both suspects fled in a silver Forerunner.

Officer Daniel Graziose investigated the case as Tedesco turned herself in to the Ceres Police Station to make a statement and was arrested without incident. She was booked on charges of robbery and violation of probation.

Police have issued an arrest warrant for parolee at large Steven Glenn, 24, of Modesto, for robbery.
